FIVE EVENT CENTER

Walking into FIVE the first time I instantly knew that we would be married there. The venue is beautiful, modern and unique. What I didn’t expect was the amazing service I would receive from that day until well after my wedding day. The staff is always available to answer questions and let you do (yet another) walk through of the venue. There weren’t any surprises and everything we had talked about was done. They even handled my set-up and clean up including loading a trailer for us so we wouldn’t have to do it ourselves. I worked in hospitality and saw many different events take place but I have never seen anywhere with this type of great service and professionalism. If you’re looking for a venue do yourself a favor and stop by FIVE. You will be blown away! Thanks to the FIVE staff! – Samantha & David

We were so happy we chose Five Event Center as the venue for our wedding. We liked the fact that it could host both the ceremony and reception easily. It was perfect as guests could head downstairs for the cocktail hour while they transitioned the upstairs space. The building is unique, has a cool history, and is in a great location in uptown. Five were wonderful! Al- ways so friendly and happy to answer my many questions. They accommodated everything we needed and helped to make the day go super smoothly. FIVE was a great venue for our wedding. The location was perfect in Lyn/Lake, and the modern, urban space suited our wed- ding wonderfully. FIVE was so helpful throughout the planning process – getting back to me promptly when I had questions and being extremely flexible as we were figuring out the schedule. I loved that I didn’t need to add a ton of decor to make the space feel special, and there were tons of layout options for us to use. It was great to have a live band play our reception as we danced the night away – not necessarily an option at all venues. Finally, I LOVED that we had the choice of what caterer we wanted (for a small fee). That added flexibility plus the great space was what clinched the decision for us. – Emma & Justin

I found FIVE Event Center on TheKnot.com and it was the only venue my husband and I chose to see. FIVE was great at showing us around the venue and extremely helpful in answering all of our questions (and the many emails I sent afterward, very promptly). We loved the history behind the building, and thought it was unique compared to other wedding reception venues we had been to for other weddings. We also loved that free parking was offered to our guests. We loved that there were two floors, and it’s perfect for a mix and mingle type of wedding, but can easily be made to fit any event. We also loved that we didn’t have to bring a lot in to decorate since the ambiance is perfect the way it is. We did not have one issue with this location and would do it all over if we could 🙂 Definitely recommend this event center. – Jen & Adam

My Husband and I had our ceremony and reception at FIVE Event Center and I must say it was THE BEST DECISION ever!! The venue is absolutely beautiful inside and out! You definitely don’t need to add much! The coordinator and staff were very helpful and attended to all of our needs before and during the wedding. They made our rehearsal, wedding ceremony, reception, and after party smooth and very enjoyable! We seriously didn’t need to worry about a thing!! We are so thankful to have had a great venue and staff to work with us. Our guests loved the ceremony/reception hall, the downstairs bar and social hour area, as well as the small patio outdoors. Our annual company party was held at Five Event Center, and it was the perfect location for our event! The staff was accommodating and helpful and were able to assist us with our many requests. The atmosphere is beautiful, and our 240 guests had more than ample space to party! We would definitely use FIVE for future events! – Sharon

We chose the venue based on the versatile space (Two floors: perfect for moving guests during room flip between wedding & party), budget-friendly pricing, helpful & friendly staff, and the overall beauty of the space! There’s a reason FIVE is so highly-rated. It is an absolutely beautiful industrial venue- cool lighting fixtures, a dramatic staircase, and lots of exposed brick. It perfectly suited our minimalist/quirky vibe. Everyone on staff at FIVE is extremely knowledgeable and responsive. They did a great job of shepherding us through the wedding planning process. Weddings take a lot of coordination/moving parts, and our wedding was flawless from start to finish. – Katie

We held our wedding at Five just last week and absolutely loved it! We fell in love with it at my husband’s work Christmas party last year and when we got engaged, knew it was the spot we wanted to tie the knot. It’s a hidden gem and was worth every penny (though I assure you it was very reasonably priced). It’s clean and modern but feels industrial and historical, with fabulous lighting and a lot of cool nooks and crannies for fun photo ops! Our guests keep raving about the space and our food (pasta from Green Mill). It was truly a magical place to get married, and the coordinators were so lovely to work with! Would get married here all over again if we could. – AJ

We held our wedding reception at FIVE on 10/12/19. We booked the venue in August of 2018 after seeing a number of venues in the Twin Cities. Nothing compared to the modern/upscale industrial feel that FIVE has. Their price is unbeatable and they are so easy to work with. They have a lot of fantastic vendor partners and are willing to help you with any crazy or unique ideas that you may have. – Daryn

We held our ceremony & reception at FIVE and it was absolutely perfect. From the super informative first meeting to prompt responses to all of our (many) questions, to the execution & problem-solving day-of, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The space is so lovely, we didn’t really need to do much to decorate at all. And the team is incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially as we got closer to the event and were so scattered! I would absolutely recommend FIVE for any event, but think it is one of the best, prettiest, and most convenient spaces for a wedding in the Twin Cities. – Amanda
